Thank you for visiting our site. I hope you find the information helpful as you plan your studies with Athabasca University. Whether you are a prospective student exploring AU courses for the first time, a program student pursuing a credential, a visiting student from another institution, or you are simply interested in taking some courses to see how things go, there are many services available to help you successfully complete your courses and programs with AU.

In addition to being a staff member, I am also a graduate of Athabasca University so I have an appreciation of some of the challenges of distance and online learning and juggling family, community, work, housecleaning, and studies (not necessarily in that order of course!) -- all in the same 24-hour period. Having completed a Bachelor of Administration degree with AU I went on to complete a Master of Continuing Education with a specialization in Leadership & Development at the University of Calgary.

I enjoy reading, sewing (although I'm not very good at it), golfing (not very good at that either), cycling, skating and sappy movies that have very little depth but they have that predictable romantic ending.

If you think that Athabasca University might be able to help you achieve your career and/or educational goals, or if you'd just like to have some information on our courses, programs and services, please contact us and we would be happy to assist you.
